Bulletin announces strategic European partnership

Posted by Martin Stott

Bulletin, one of the UK’s leading boutique financial services communications consultancies, has announced a strategic partnership with Anglo-Dutch agency Bellier Financial as both firms look to expand their European cross-border capabilities in readiness for Brexit.

Bulletin, which has particular expertise in PR and high-quality content creation for the investment industry and university sector, will pool capacity and resources with Amsterdam-headquartered Bellier to extend its offering to clients from offices in London, Nottingham and Amsterdam.

Bellier is the largest agency by client AUM in the cross-asset institutional investment market in the Netherlands, which has Europe’s second biggest private pensions industry after the UK. It also has growing digital marketing expertise. The firm already has regional partnerships with Felhoff & Cie, the leading real estate communications agency in German-speaking markets, and Watatawa in the Asia-Pacific countries. Bellier also has a representative office for North American markets in Washington DC.

Martin Stott, CEO and founder of Bulletin said: “Bellier has a great reputation in the asset management world and both firms have built an impressive roster of clients over the last decade. Although we already work for a number of global asset managers, our core business is in the UK. In a post-Brexit world we wanted a platform to expand our support for those clients looking to build business outside the UK. Bulletin and Bellier have plenty of overlap in expertise but also complementary strengths that will enable each of us to offer our clients an enhanced and broader service.”

The two businesses will initially focus on supporting clients in the private equity and listed real estate sectors and associated services firms. Bellier-Bulletin’s training capabilities in media relations, simple and long-form story structuring and writing, corporate ethics, and introductions to real estate and financial markets, as well as other areas, are also to be combined.

Steve Hays, co-Founding Managing Director at Bellier, said: “The new platform will, with immediate effect, offer Bellier’s pan-European real estate clients access to a much larger team of specialist communications consultants and also powerful editorial content from some of the UK’s top-tier former business and investment journalists.”
