Account Director
Bulletin PR is a strategic communications consultancy that specialises in financial services, particularly investment management. Our clients include some of Europe’s leading asset managers. We are renowned for the editorial strength of our team and our depth of knowledge.
We are looking for an account director, based in Nottingham, to help manage the relationships on some of our key accounts. This is an opportunity to enjoy a City PR career without having to live in London or suffer long commutes. There may be opportunities for European travel too.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of ongoing PR activities, including media relations. You will be proactive in originating ideas that highlight the strengths of our clients and appeal to journalists in the national media and investment trade press. You will manage projects, involving our editorial and design teams and provide high-quality and insightful content yourself. You will also respond to media enquiries. You will work closely with senior management at our client firms. You will also work to support our strategic partner in the Netherlands, Bellier Financial.
What you’ll need to succeed
You must have proven experience in a strategic communications/PR role in a financial services environment. You will be able to demonstrate PR judgement and news sense. You will have excellent knowledge of investment and asset management issues. You will be able to write to a high standard. You must have good relationship skills – able to provide clients with the efficient and friendly service they have come to expect from Bulletin and to build close relationships with journalists. You will have a sharp intellect – be someone who is able to assimilate complex issues quickly and communicate with clarity and spark.
